Fly'N Cocoa Bird Buster, JH NRD
March 26, 2007 - June 11, 2020

Picture
Cocoa was our little love bug.  She thought she was a lap dog and loved to hunt like her Mom, Bess.  When she got on a bird, she had an intense point!  She excelled in hunting, with a memorable point on the last day of the 2020 season. Stuart still talks about her beautiful point when she got the last bird of the day. She was very mild mannered and gentle around people and children.  Everyone loved Cocoa!  If a picture of grandkids was being taken, you would always find her in it!  She could never get too much attention!

We named her Cocoa because of her beautiful liver color and the "marshmallow" on her chest.

We lost Cocoa just two weeks after discovering she had cancer.  In true GSP fashion, she never complained.  She left a hole in our hearts that can't be filled.

Cocoa had her Junior Hunter and Novice Retrieving Dog titles.
